Keen to weave her love of fitness into her busy working schedule, Toni decided to use her workdays to train and raise money for fantastic causes.
Toni Phoenix is 30 and works for Rethink Recruitment in Manchester. She’s something of a serial self-punisher and undertakes the most grueling of physical tasks to help raise money for charities around the country.
This past year alone she’s raised around £5,000.
Participating alongside Rethink Bristol's 'Elliott Coles', these have included a charity boxing match and the completion of one of the most challenging marathons on earth – the 20+mile a day Himalayan Marathon.
Rethink gave Elliott and Toni a week’s full, paid leave to travel and undertake the challenge.
“I absolutely love fitness,” Toni said. “It motivates every other aspect of my life, the more I train, the better I work so it’s wonderful to work for an organisation which not only lets me train, but gives me paid time off to embrace it.”
